Emirates Named Best Airline in the World

Emirates has been awarded the title of "Best Airline in the World" in a prestigious study conducted by Telegraph Travel. The analysis compared 90 airlines globally, assessing over 30 criteria. These included punctuality, baggage allowance, route network, home airport quality, fleet age, loyalty program value, and onboard meal quality. The results were compiled from international rankings, reader surveys, and expert reviews.

Emirates stood out across almost all categories. The airline excelled in key areas such as punctuality and generous baggage policies. It is also the largest operator of the double-deck Airbus A380, a favorite among passengers due to its spacious cabins and extra legroom, even in economy class.

The survey, involving 30,000 Telegraph Travel readers, also named Emirates the best long-haul airline. Full results of the rankings are available on the Telegraph Travel website. In 2024, Emirates has already received 19 awards and accolades, including 7 prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards in June.
