Warsaw Marriott Hotel Leaves Marriott International Network

The Warsaw Marriott Hotel, after more than thirty years on the Polish market, has ceased to be part of the global Marriott International network. As of August 6, 2024, the property officially ended its affiliation with the international hotel corporation, marking a significant change on the hotel landscape of the capital. The management company (LIM Center) announced that the hotel will now operate under a new name: Warsaw Presidential Hotel.

Representatives of Marriott International emphasized in their statement that the decision to end the partnership with the Warsaw hotel followed a thorough analysis. Their priority now is to ensure that the transition process proceeds smoothly for both guests and staff. "Managing the Warsaw Marriott Hotel for over 30 years has been a privilege for us. We wish the hotel team much success in their continued operation of the property," said a spokesperson for the network, expressing gratitude for the long-standing collaboration.

Despite losing such a prominent location, Marriott International is not withdrawing from the Polish market. Poland remains one of the company's key areas of operation. The current portfolio of the network in the country includes 23 hotels, with plans to open an additional ten properties in the coming years. This clearly signals that Poland continues to be a market with significant growth potential for Marriott International.

The Warsaw Marriott Hotel, located in the heart of Warsaw, has over the years become one of the symbols of luxury and elegance. The hotel offers 523 rooms, including two Executive floors, making it one of the largest properties of its kind in the capital. The hotel also features numerous dining venues, including the famous Panorama Sky Bar on the 40th floor, offering spectacular views of the city skyline. Additionally, the hotel boasts an extensive conference area with 25 rooms covering a total space of over 1,700 square meters. In the basement, the Holmes Place Fitness Center offers a gym, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and spa—everything one would expect from a property of this caliber.
