LOT to Launch New Route from Warsaw to Marrakech Starting October
LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct route from Warsaw to Marrakech, with the inaugural flight scheduled for October 26, 2025. The news was shared by LOT’s CEO, Michał Fijoł, during the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
This new connection to Morocco marks a significant addition to LOT’s winter schedule and reflects the airline’s ongoing expansion strategy. Flights will operate twice a week—on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Departures from Warsaw are planned for the morning hours, with return flights from Marrakech scheduled for the evening. Although the route is not yet available in the booking system, the announcement has already attracted notable attention within the travel industry.
LOT’s entry into the Polish-Moroccan market introduces a new level of competition. Until now, flights between Poland and Morocco were predominantly handled by low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and Wizz Air. With LOT stepping in, passengers can expect a more comfortable travel experience and a broader range of scheduling options.
This development is part of a wider trend in LOT’s network growth. In recent weeks, the airline has launched new routes to Lisbon, Malta, and Keflavik in Iceland. All signs point to a bold and dynamic approach for the upcoming 2025/2026 winter season, with LOT aiming to strengthen its position on both established and emerging markets.
