20 years of the InterContinental Hotel Warszawa
On Friday, November 24th, we attended the Jubilee Gala celebrating the 20th anniversary of the InterContinental Warsaw hotel. The ceremony was hosted by Monika Mikulska-Guźniczak and Hubert Urbański. The evening was inaugurated and concluded by Britta Kutz, the general manager, delivering an inspiring speech in Polish, which is not her native language.
The guests were treated to a special cocktail called "Syrenka," inspired by the legend of the Warsaw Mermaid, symbolically blending flavors of the past and present, paying tribute to two decades of InterContinental Warsaw. We also had the pleasure of tasting dishes created by Karol Okrasa and chefs from Platter Restaurant and DownTown Restaurant.
Fine de Claire oysters, mushroom Arancini, venison with blackberries, and sturgeon with sun-dried tomatoes were just some of the dishes served during dinner by head chef Grzegorz Krupa. The evening concluded with a birthday cake, a "Happy Birthday" toast by Dominika Gawęda, and a concert by the Blue Caffe band, which added to the guests' enjoyment.
