Air France introducing new flights to Salvador, Malé, and Kiruna.

Air France updates for the 2024/2025 flight schedule

French airline Air France has released initial information regarding changes and new additions to its winter flight schedule. From November 2024 to March 2025, five additional routes will be launched from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, including three new destinations.

Book flights to Salvador de Bahia, the cultural capital of Brazil

Among the new routes is a flight to Salvador de Bahia. The former capital of Brazil is located in the eastern part of the country along the Atlantic coast. The city's hallmark is the historic Pelourinho district, which features well-preserved colonial architecture, colorful buildings, and cobblestone streets. This historic area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The first flights to Salvador de Bahia will begin on October 28, 2024, and will be operated three times a week: on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The route will be serviced by an Airbus A350-900, which has 324 seats, including 34 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy, and 266 in Economy Class. Salvador de Bahia will become Air France's fifth destination in Brazil, joining Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Fortaleza, and Belem. Altogether, Air France will operate up to 30 weekly flights between France and Brazil during the 2024/2025 winter season. Additionally, thanks to a commercial partnership with Brazilian airline GOL, Air France customers will have easy access to a domestic network covering 40 cities across Brazil.

Fly to the Maldives for the holiday season

During the holiday break, Air France will launch flights to the stunning Maldives archipelago. The flights will be available from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, twice a week on Fridays and Sundays. These flights will be operated by an A350-900, which accommodates 292 passengers.

Discover the magic of the Northern Lights

Air France's winter schedule also includes flights to Kiruna, Sweden. Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is an excellent base for exploring pristine nature and viewing the Northern Lights. Kiruna will be Air France's fifth destination in Lapland, joining Rovaniemi (Finland), Kittilä (Finland), Tromsø (Norway), and Narvik (seasonal flights to the Lofoten Islands in Norway during summer). Flights to Kiruna will commence on December 21, 2024, operated by an A319.

Air France expands its offerings to the United States

Air France is continuing to expand its network to the USA. Two new destinations in the United States will be available to travelers: Denver (Colorado) and Phoenix (Arizona). Air France will offer three weekly flights to each of these cities from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Previously, flights to Denver were only available during the summer. The first Air France flight to Phoenix is scheduled for May 23, 2024.
