New LOT connection from Warsaw to Innsbruck
Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT has announced the launch of a new connection from Warsaw to Innsbruck. The route will commence on November 29 and will operate throughout the winter season until March 28 next year. Flights to the capital of Tyrol will take place once a week, every Friday.
Passengers will be able to board Boeing 737 aircraft, departing from Warsaw Airport at 10:25 AM local time. The return flight from Innsbruck is scheduled for Friday afternoons at 1:35 PM local time. The entire journey will take approximately 1.5 hours.
"Innsbruck is the next destination, following Tashkent, Athens, Oradea, and Riyadh, that LOT will inaugurate this year. Thanks to the large fleet orders completed in recent months, we can offer new destinations as well as increase the frequency of existing routes. By planning flights to the Austrian heart of winter sports, we are meeting the needs of our passengers. Innsbruck offers not only excellent skiing conditions but also numerous cultural and tourist attractions. We are confident that the new connection will be met with great interest," says Michał Fijoł, President of the Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines.
Innsbruck offers passengers unforgettable views of the alpine peaks from the moment they land. Winter sports enthusiasts will find over 350 km of ski slopes of varying difficulty levels. The Austrian winter resort also boasts numerous tourist attractions, such as the Hofburg and Ambras castles with richly decorated interiors, as well as the Swarovski Crystal Worlds museum and factory. In the evenings, it's worth taking a stroll through the medieval old town with its charming townhouses, enjoying the fresh mountain air.
