Three More Airports Install InPost Parcel Lockers to Meet Passenger Needs

Three additional airports – Modlin, Radom, and Zielona Góra – have installed InPost parcel lockers. This initiative responds to the growing expectations of passengers who increasingly use this service to avoid discarding valuable items flagged during security checks.

Previously, parcel lockers were available at airports in Warsaw, Wrocław, Katowice, and Poznań. Now, travelers can send parcels from these new locations as well. Waldemar Brzoska, Director of Expansion at InPost, emphasizes that passengers expect such devices to be available at all airports. Parcel lockers enable quick and convenient parcel dispatch directly from the terminal, which is highly appreciated by users.

The parcel dispatch process is straightforward. Items flagged during security checks should be placed in a zip-lock bag, then in a suitably sized cardboard box, and finally in the parcel locker. The entire process can be managed using the InPost Mobile app. Parcel lockers allow for domestic shipping either to other InPost lockers or by courier to a specified address.

The introduction of parcel lockers in new locations brings additional benefits to passengers. For example, at Modlin Airport, passengers do not need to purchase the Fast Track service, which helps them avoid queues at security checks. Additionally, a second parcel locker has been installed in Modlin, located at Parking 1 opposite the terminal, enhancing convenience.

The innovative InPost solution was positively received at Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Anna Dermont, spokesperson for Polish Airports, expresses satisfaction that passengers from Radom and Zielona Góra will also be able to use this service. She is confident that parcel lockers will gradually be installed at all Polish airports, enhancing service standards and facilitating travel for passengers.
