Wheelchairs and other accessibility features on Eurowings flights

Eurowings Introduces Special Wheelchairs

Eurowings airlines are taking significant steps toward improving accessibility for passengers with limited mobility. Recently, the carrier introduced specially designed wheelchairs on all its flights. This new feature greatly simplifies travel for disabled passengers. From now on, passengers can request a wheelchair directly from the flight attendants during the flight without having to notify in advance. The wheelchair is also adapted for use in the aircraft toilets.

Trained Eurowings Crew

Eurowings flight crews are properly trained to assist disabled passengers, including helping them use the onboard wheelchair. Additionally, flight attendants can help with the storage of carry-on luggage and mobility aids for passengers with limited mobility.

Other Accessibility Features

In addition to onboard wheelchairs, Eurowings also offers other services for passengers with disabilities, such as assistance with boarding and deplaning, transportation across the airport tarmac and stairs, and escorting passengers to their seats on the aircraft. However, it is recommended that these needs be reported in advance.
