LOT Polish Airlines extend flight schedule from Warsaw to Dubrovnik

PLL LOT will extend the operation period of flights between Warsaw and Dubrovnik, allowing travelers to reach the "Pearl of the Adriatic" also in November, December, and early January of the new year. Flights to Rudjer Bošković Airport will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, until January 7, 2025. After a short break, flights will resume on March 1 and will be conducted with a frequency of two rotations per week until the end of the winter season.

Croatia has been attracting Polish tourists for years, who previously most often chose to travel by car. However, the development of low-cost airlines and the increase in connections offered by PLL LOT during the summer season have led to more people opting to fly. In 2023, a record 529,000 passengers traveled between Poland and Croatia, representing a significant increase compared to previous years.

PLL LOT first flew to Zagreb in 1965 and later expanded its network to include Split, Rijeka, and Dubrovnik. Between 2001 and 2023, the carrier served 812,000 passengers on routes to Croatia, operating over 13,000 flights. In 2024, LOT will offer 146,600 seats on routes to Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Split. Flights will operate daily, except on Saturdays, and in the winter of 2024/2025, the route to Zagreb will be serviced 9 times a week.

Croatia is an extremely popular holiday destination among Poles. In 2023, 1.084 million Polish tourists visited Croatia, making Poland the fourth largest group of visitors to the country. This represents a 3.4% increase in arrivals compared to the previous year. Germans, Slovaks, and Austrians were the most numerous tourists visiting Croatia, which received a total of 20.6 million tourists from around the world in 2023.

With its picturesque landscapes and rich tourist offerings, Croatia remains one of the favorite holiday destinations for Poles, as reflected in the steadily increasing number of flight connections offered by PLL LOT.
