LOT Resumes Flights to Larnaca After Two-Year Hiatus

After a two-year hiatus, LOT Polish Airlines is resuming flights to Larnaca, Cyprus. The first flight will take off on October 28 this year, with a travel time of approximately 3.5 hours. The routes will be serviced by Boeing 737 aircraft.

During the winter season, passengers will have access to four weekly flights: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In the summer season, flights to Larnaca will be available six times a week, excluding Tuesdays. In the winter, flight LO171 will depart from Warsaw at 10:40 AM and land in Larnaca at 3:10 PM. The return flight, LO172, will leave at 4:10 PM and arrive in Warsaw at 6:50 PM.

Larnaca is also an excellent base for exploring other parts of Cyprus, the third-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. According to Greek mythology, the goddess of love, Aphrodite, was born here. Cypriot cuisine, combining Mediterranean and Southern European influences, is rich in olive oil, wine, cheese, fresh vegetables, as well as lamb, veal, fish, and seafood.

Larnaca International Airport, the largest airport in Cyprus, is located just 8 km south of the city.
