Air Arabia Launches New Route from Warsaw to Sharjah
Air Arabia, a low-cost airline based in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the launch of a new route connecting Warsaw Chopin Airport to Sharjah, further expanding its presence in Poland. The inaugural flight for this new route is scheduled for December 20th of this year, with services running five times a week, providing travelers with a convenient array of travel options.
Flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the current schedule set to run until March 29th, 2025. This suggests that the new route will initially have a seasonal character, catering to those seeking winter travel options.
Round-trip tickets are priced starting at approximately 1,900 PLN, indicating that this route may primarily attract travelers from Arab countries. Recent years have seen a growing interest in Poland among residents of the Gulf region, which could explain Air Arabia's decision to launch this connection.
Warsaw will become the second city in Poland from which Air Arabia offers flights to Sharjah. Earlier this year, in June, the airline began operating a route between Sharjah and Krakow, and the success of this route, with up to 12 weekly flights during the summer season, highlights the increasing demand for travel between Poland and the United Arab Emirates.
As a low-cost carrier, Air Arabia strives to offer competitive fares while maintaining high service standards. Founded in 2003, the airline has grown rapidly, with its operational base in Sharjah, complemented by additional bases in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, enabling it to serve a wide range of destinations across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Europe. Air Arabia's fleet consists of 77 modern Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and safe travel experience.
The decision to launch the new route from Warsaw to Sharjah could strengthen ties between Poland and Arab countries and increase interest in Poland as an attractive tourist destination. Additionally, the new connection aligns with the broader trend of increasing competition in the airline industry, potentially benefiting both travelers and the overall aviation sector in Poland.
