Ryanair Announces a Record-Breaking Winter Flight Schedule from Krakow for the 2024/2025 Season
Ryanair has announced a record-breaking winter flight schedule from Krakow, featuring 62 routes, including two new destinations: Milan-Malpensa and Trieste. Additionally, the airline is reintroducing one of its popular winter routes, Fuerteventura, and increasing the frequency of flights to over 30 sunny destinations such as Alicante, Madrid, Malta, and Tenerife.
The winter schedule will include 11 based aircraft, five of which are new "Gamechanger" models with lower CO2 emissions and reduced noise levels. As a result, Ryanair aims to serve 5.9 million passengers annually from Krakow Airport and create over 5,000 jobs, including 350 high-paying positions for pilots and cabin crew.
Ryanair's commitment to the region is further highlighted by the construction of a new training center valued at 600 million PLN, currently underway at Krakow Airport. Once completed in 2025, the facility will have the capacity to train up to 500 people daily, providing advanced training for flight crews and aircraft technicians.
Ryanair remains a key player in the Polish aviation market, transporting approximately 18 million passengers to and from Poland annually with a fleet of 42 aircraft based in the country. This extensive network not only supports tourism but also contributes to local economies, creating a total of over 14,600 jobs in Poland.
To celebrate the launch of the new winter schedule, Ryanair has introduced special promotional fares starting from just 95 PLN.
