Following changes introduced by Austrian Airlines in Vienna, Lufthansa has also established special Premium Bag Drop at Frankfurt Airport. Business Class passengers and travelers with Star Gold status, who already have their boarding passes, can now tag their luggage and drop it off at one of the Premium Bag Drop kiosks.

The self-service baggage drop-off kiosks at Frankfurt can be found in Terminal 1 in Departures Hall A, at counters numbered 254 - 285.

Self-Service Baggage Check-In in Munich

First and Business Class travelers can also take advantage of a similar service at Munich Airport. The Premium Bag Drop kiosks are becoming increasingly popular among premium guests.

Where to Find Premium Bag Drop Kiosks in Munich?

The dedicated baggage drop-off kiosks are located in Terminal 2 on Level 4, opposite the Business Class check-in area, and are numbered from 470 to 474. At counter 469, premium class guests can get assistance if they have any questions or concerns about their flight.

By introducing this self-service option, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa are responding to customer preferences, giving them the choice between checking in luggage with staff assistance or using the kiosk.
