SWISS First Lounge Honored with Culinary Award in Dubai

The SWISS First Lounge, located in Terminal E at Zurich-Kloten International Airport, has been awarded the title of World’s Best Airline Lounge for Dining at the 2024 World Culinary Awards in Dubai. This recognition highlights the exceptional quality of dishes that SWISS serves to its guests in collaboration with its partner, Gategourmet.

À la Carte Dishes and Global Cuisine

SWISS passengers can savor freshly prepared à la carte dishes. The Swiss airline places particular emphasis on using regional and seasonal ingredients. In addition to Swiss classics like Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, which consists of finely sliced meat, usually veal, simmered in a creamy sauce made with white wine, cream, and broth, served with rösti—a Swiss potato pancake—or fondue, SWISS Lounge guests can also enjoy international dishes. The menu features a variety of dishes from diverse cultures, from Thai curry to hamburgers. In line with the seasonal approach, the menu is modified every three months.
