LOT Polish Airlines has opened a Business Lounge at Chicago O’Hare Airport

LOT's First Business Lounge in North America
On December 19, 2024, LOT Polish Airlines opened its first business lounge in North America. The Business Lounge is located in Terminal 5 of the international Chicago O’Hare Airport. The lounge is available to passengers daily from 7 AM to midnight local time. The opening of the lounge in Chicago is a tribute to the strong Polish community traveling this route from Warsaw and Kraków. Flights to the “Windy City” have been part of LOT’s schedule for over 50 years. In 2023, the airline served 230,000 passengers between Poland and Chicago.

Modernity and Elegance
The LOT Business Lounge is located near TSA security checkpoints and gates leading to aircraft boarding. The lounge offers a beautiful panoramic view of the airport apron. The comfortable space spans 617 m², with designated rest areas, work zones, and a section for gastronomic offerings. The lounge interior impresses with elegance and minimalist design, while also incorporating accents of Polish tradition, such as the use of amber. Travelers can enjoy 165 seating options. The relaxation and work areas are specially separated from the rest of the lounge. The gastronomic zone features a wide range of hot and cold meals, including Polish cuisine specialties.

Fast Wi-Fi and Dimmed Windows
The LOT lounge incorporates modern technologies to ensure the highest standards and attention to detail in the dedicated space. Notable features include special windows with automatic dimming functions that filter sunlight when it becomes too intense, creating ideal conditions for rest or work. Travelers also have access to fast Wi-Fi, enabling participation in video conferences or streaming services. The Business Lounge also features flight information screens and charging stations for electronic devices.

Free access to the LOT Business Lounge at Chicago Airport is granted to:
- LOT Business Class passengers,
- First and Business Class passengers of Star Alliance partner airlines,
- Passengers with Star Alliance Gold status,
- Passengers with eligible loyalty program statuses from Star Alliance partner airlines: Miles & More HON, Gold and Silver, Miles+Bonus, Aeroplan Altitude, PhoenixMiles, Flying Returns, Airpoints, ANA Mileage Club, Asiana Club, LifeMiles, ConnectMiles, EGYPTAIR Plus, Sheba Miles, Infinity Mileagelands, PhoenixMiles, KrisFlyer, Voyager, TAP Miles&Go, Miles & Smiles, Royal Orchid Plus, MileagePlus,
- Business Class passengers of contracted airlines.
For other passengers wishing to use the LOT Business Lounge in Chicago, the following pricing applies:
- LOT Premium Economy passengers - $55,
- LOT Economy passengers - $60,
- “Walk-in” passengers, i.e., those not belonging to any of the above groups - $70.
