PHH Group Hotels with Prestigious Green Key Certification

The Polish Hotel Holding Capital Group is committed to ecology and sustainable development. The first properties within the Group have been awarded the international Green Key certification, confirming their dedication to environmental protection. The distinguished hotels include Moxy Katowice Airport, Moxy Poznań Airport, Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Airport, and Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel.

This marks just the beginning of the certification process, which will extend to additional properties within the Group. Through this initiative, PHH is implementing a long-term strategy for introducing eco-friendly solutions in the hospitality sector, emphasizing the importance of responsible tourism.

Green Key – The Environmental Standard in Hospitality

The Green Key certificate is an internationally recognized distinction awarded to hotels and tourist facilities that meet the highest environmental management standards. Established in 1994, the program promotes actions related to energy conservation, efficient water management, waste reduction, and ecological education for employees and guests.

"Obtaining the Green Key certificate is an important step towards more sustainable tourism. We strive for continuous improvement, not only to meet the required standards but also to set new directions in the hospitality industry," says Marta Marczyńska, Sustainability Specialist at PHH Group.

Responsible Tourism – A Priority for PHH

The hospitality industry plays a crucial role in shaping eco-friendly attitudes. PHH Group consistently implements solutions that reduce the environmental impact of hotel operations while supporting local communities and economies. The initiation of the certification process is part of a broader sustainable development strategy aimed at promoting ecological standards across the sector.

PHH Group is the second-largest hotel network in Poland and the market leader with exclusively Polish capital. Currently, it manages 48 hotels and facilities, offering a total of over 5,000 rooms. As a franchisee, it collaborates with the world’s leading hotel brands, such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, Louvre Hotels Group, and Accor.
