KLM receives the World Class Award 2024
For the third consecutive year, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has been awarded the prestigious APEX World Class Award, a unique recognition for achievements in areas such as safety, passenger well-being, and sustainability. The award is granted by customers and the air travel and tourism industry, with winners selected annually by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) based on audits and consumer reviews. The trophy is awarded only to airlines that have previously achieved a five-star rating.
KLM Recognized for Excellence in Sustainability
In addition to the World Class Award 2024, KLM has been recognized as the best in its class for sustainability. The World Class Award reflects the quality of service, passenger experiences, safety, and efforts in sustainability. KLM continuously improves its customer interactions in all these areas, whether on board their aircraft, at airports, or in airport lounges.
Safe and Comfortable Travel with KLM
"We are proud and honored that KLM has won the World Class Award for the third year in a row. Our priority is to provide customers with a safe and comfortable journey, but we also strive to make air transport cleaner, quieter, and more fuel-efficient. To this end, we are heavily investing in a modern fleet and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The award is an honor and recognition of the efforts of all KLM employees, motivating us to further improve our products and services," said Barry ter Voert, KLM's Director of Business Development.
What is APEX?
The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) is the largest and most reputable organization focused on market research and customer satisfaction assessment regarding airline services.
This year's World Class Award was presented to eight airlines. Alongside KLM, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Japan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, and Saudia were also honored.
