Katowice airport welcomes winter flight schedule with new destinations
As the winter season approaches, Katowice Airport gears up to offer travelers an expanded selection of flights, boasting 67 regular and charter routes to 35 countries. For the "Winter 2023/2024" season, passengers have access to 38 scheduled destinations, served by airlines including Wizz Air, Ryanair, Lufthansa, and PLL LOT, featuring four brand-new routes.
Wizz Air has launched flights to Alicante, Spain, and Copenhagen, Denmark, while also planning to introduce connections to Aqaba in Jordan and Brussels-Charleroi in Belgium. These additions provide fresh travel opportunities for passengers, with Wizz Air now offering a total of 27 routes that span across various destinations such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Norway, Greece, Georgia, the Netherlands, Iceland, Israel, Malta, Germany, Portugal, Madeira, and the United Arab Emirates.
Ryanair, the airport's second base carrier, offers nine destinations, including Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Polish Airlines LOT and Air Dolomiti further enrich Katowice Airport's flight options, connecting Pyrzowice with Warsaw and Frankfurt.
