The inaugural flight of LOT from Warsaw to Rome Fiumicino Airport

On Monday, the inaugural flight of LOT from Warsaw to Rome Fiumicino Airport took place. The national carrier will serve this route daily, offering four morning flights and three afternoon flights. Plans are in place to double the frequency of flights by spring.

According to the schedule, LOT will operate the route to Rome at 7:15 am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and at 4:30 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Return flights from Rome are scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday at 7:40 pm local time, and from November 16th, also on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:25 am. The journey time is 2 hours and 10 minutes.

The national carrier also informs that in the summer flight schedule, the number of connections on the Warsaw-Rome route will be doubled, offering passengers daily connections both in the morning and in the afternoon.

The launch of flights to the Italian capital by LOT is significant for several reasons, including the fact that it marks the return of the national carrier to a route that has been dominated by Wizz Air until now. The inaugural flight took place on the morning of October 30th using a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

It is also worth mentioning that from November 16th, LOT will reduce the frequency of flights on the Warsaw-Radom to Rome route, operating connections twice a week, specifically on Thursdays.
